CHILDREN’S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA, INC.
The largest health-care capital expenditure in Georgia’s history, the new Children's Healthcare campus will include a pediatric hospital, two support staff buildings, the Center for Advanced Pediatrics, and more than 20 acres of greenspace. GLG coordinated with city, county and state agencies to obtain the entitlements to help make this $1.5 billion project a reality.
PORSCHE CARS NORTH AMERICA, INC. - NORTH AMERICAN HEADQUARTERS
Porsche's new North American headquarters is located near the new International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, in the Aerotropolis Atlanta development on the former Ford factory site. Our firm provided zoning due diligence and obtained City of Atlanta land use entitlements for the project. The new headquarters is comprised of modern office facilities, including a Technical Service and Training Center, as well as a Customer Experience Center featuring a road handling course to show off the capabilities of Porsche's vehicles.
QUARRY YARDS
Zoning due-diligence and entitlements for a multi-phase mixed-use development across from the Bankhead MARTA Station. Phase I includes more than 800 new residential units, a 300-room hotel, nearly 600,000 square feet of offices, and 75,000 square feet of retail in both new and adaptively reused buildings. Quarry Yards is now owned by Microsoft for a new campus hub to include all of Microsoft’s business divisions.
GID DEVELOPMENT – HIGH STREET
This 36-acre mixed-use development lies in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Hammond Drive and Perimeter Center Parkway in the City of Dunwoody. Our firm obtained zoning approvals allowing 774,000 square feet of office, 400,000 square feet of retail, 400 hotel rooms, 1,500 apartment units, and 1,500 condominium units in buildings ranging in height from 5 stories to 30 stories. When complete, High Street will comprise 4,000,000 square feet.
KIM KING ASSOCIATES / ROSS HOTEL PARTNERS
Special Use Permit approvals for 112-room boutique hotel in partnership with WHI Real Estate Partners. Plans include preserving 7,000 square feet of the original 1930s building and adding a four-story addition, with a new restaurant and bar.
POLLACK SHORES REAL ESTATE GROUP
Obtained entitlements for 400 multi-family units at Citizen Perimeter as part of a mixed-use development at 155 Hammond Drive, which includes office, retail, restaurants and a 120-room hotel.
THE KROGER CO.
Obtained entitlements to expand Kroger for a new Marketplace concept and for renovation of existing tenant space at Kimco Realty’s Embry Hills Shopping Center.
CORO REALTY ADVISORS, LLC - BUCKHEAD PLACE
Approval of and entitlements for mixed-use development of 13 acres located at Piedmont Road and Peachtree Road in the City of Atlanta that will include 499,205 square feet of residential uses and 740,795 square feet of non-residential uses.
WALTON COMMUNITIES, LLC - WALTON WESTSIDE
Approval of land use entitlements for a 250-unit luxury apartment community on Huff Road NW in the City of Atlanta.
TOLL BROTHERS
This 30-acre mixed-use development in Chamblee will feature townhomes, stacked flat condominiums, single-family detached homes, apartments, and commercial/retail/restaurant space. Our firm obtained entitlements for a Planned Unit Development with architectural standards to allow 375 multi-family units, over 400 additional residential units and 20,000 sf of commercial and restaurant space.
BRANCH PROPERTIES
Obtained entitlements for Perimeter Marketplace, a 68,077 square foot shopping center located in Dunwoody anchored by Publix. The shopping center includes national tenants such as QuikTrip, One Medical, and CHOPT as well as local tenants.
MAJESTIC REALTY CO.
Obtained rezoning and entitlements for almost 20 million square feet of new distribution space at Majestic Realty’s Airport Center I, II, III and IV for tenants such as Kraft, P&G, GE, Kellogg, Caterpillar, DelMonte and Walmart and at Majestic Logistics Center near Charlie-Brown Airport for UPS’s $400 million 1.2-million square-foot regional sortation and distribution logistics hub that can sort roughly 100,000 parcels per hour.
AMAZON
Amazon's first robotics fulfillment center in Georgia is now open on 78 acres in Gwinnett County near Stone Mountain. Our firm obtained entitlements and coordinated with state and local traffic agencies for approval of this development, originally referred to by the code name Project Rocket.
